VCI-2000 ™  VCI-WIRE for Corrosion Protection of Pipe

VCI wire strip is designed for corrosion protection of tubes, pipes or conduits of up to 6 inches in diameter in storage or during shipping.  For larger diameters than 6 inches use VCI powder or VCI liquid for fogging interiors.

The vci wire strip is made from extruded plastic that is impregnated with corrosion inhibitors.  It is placed inside the tube or pipe diameters of up to 6 inches, which is then capped or sealed. The length of the wire strip should equal the length of the pipe. Within hours, the vapors from the wire strip saturate the enclosed air space.

 LONG TERM CORROSION PROTECTION OF CLOSED SPACE

The slow release vapor action protects the exterior as well as hard-to-reach interior surfaces.  It is self-healing and will provide 24 months of long-term protection for storage and overseas shipments.
