Daubrite ® Emitters Keep Enclosed Metals Corrosion-Free   Two sizes of VCI disk emitters that protect exposed metals in closed spaces. They are designed for use in junction boxes, control panels, and other enclosures and packaging containing electronic or metal equipment.
Like other Daubert VCI products, Daubrite® emitters provide vapor corrosion protection to enclosed metal parts. When the VCI Emitter is opened, the Daubert VCI's seek the metal surfaces inside the packaging or enclosure environment and form a protective molecular layer on the surface of the metal. This layer prevents moisture, hydrogen sulfides, salt, dirt, oxygen, and other contaminants from depositing on the metal and causing damaging corrosion. Plastic VCI Emitters by Daubert Cromwell
 Daubrite emitters are round, 2 ¾” diameter, made of VCI (vapor corrosion inhibitor) impregnated fibrous material. Strong adhesive tape on the back side of the VCI emitter provides fast and easy installation inside the cabinet, container, or box. VCI emitters can be stored in their original packaging to preserve the emitter until it is ready for use. VCI emitters release corrosion-inhibiting vapors into the enclosure environment when installed.
Each unit prevents metal corrosion for up to 2 years. It even comes with a convenient ready to use front side label for recording the date of installation.
VCI Emitters are used extensively inside control panels, fuse boxes, telecommunications equipment, alarm boxes, electronics cabinets, tool boxes, switchgear, telephone relays, electric panels, tool storage areas, firearm cabinets and wherever metal within an enclosure or package is subject to corrosion.
Two different models offer two different levels of protection. The Daubrite 5 model is designed to protect 5 cubic feet of enclosed space. The Daubrite 10 model works in a 10 cubic foot or less enclosed space. Both models are approved for military and commercial use.
