Evapo-Rust rust removal liquid contains short term corrosion inhibitors, however; For optimal results and long term long term corrosion protection one of the following options is recommended:

Package the part in VCI plastic or VCI paper corrosion preventative packaging when the wet part has dried.

OR

For conditions where packaging is not practical follow with a clean water rinse and apply a suitable corrosion inhibitor or coating.
